Removing the Special Education Funding Cap: Every school district in Oregon only receives up to 11% of the funding needed for special education students but WLWV has 14% of its students who qualify and are served.
Supporting Governor Kotek’s proposed budget for education: the governor has proposed an $11.36 billion budget for the 2025-2027 State School Fund. This is an impressive 11% increase in funding that helps our district deal with PERS funding changes and inflation
